Qualifications

  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 required.
  • Minimum 2 years client service experience at Schwab.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with strong facilitation skills.
  • Passion for mentoring others and coaching processes.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Self-directed, self-motivated, able to work independently.
  • Strong partnership skills to work with colleagues and business partners in a fast-paced, results-oriented culture.
  • Preferred: Training Consultants Program experience.

  • Utilize management tools to drive accountability, identify risks to study progress, provide individual coaching and study plans.
  • Demonstrate strong presentation skills to lead daily huddles and set daily goals.
  • Conduct interactive workshops and focus sessions on exam content.
  • Build strong relationships with Nesting Managers to support new professionals through the licensing program.
  • Participate in a collaborative team environment with best-practice sharing.
  • Adhere to standard work to ensure consistency across the program.
  • Maintain an on-site presence while supporting classes.

As a key member of the Service Talent Readiness Team, the Sr. Licensing Specialist is responsible for supporting professionals through the FINRA licensing exams, while providing actionable feedback. This position will work within a team of other Licensing Professionals and Managers responsible for maintaining targeted pass rates while ensuring adherence to the program policies and procedures. The role requires delivering an effective study environment and learner experience by monitoring study progress and delivering feedback. This work is primarily completed on-site face to face and occasionally in a virtually setting. Strong communication skills are important in progress reporting to colleagues and business partners. Additionally, Senior Licensing Specials facilitate content and performance huddles regularly.

As a Senior Licensing Specialists, you will on a regular basis:

  • Utilize management tools to help drive accountability, identify any risks to the study progress, provide individual coaching and study plans.
  • Demonstrate strong presentation skills to lead daily huddles, sharing information and setting goals for the day.
  • Conduct interactive workshops and focus sessions on exam content.
  • Build a strong relationship with Nesting Managers to support new professionals through the licensing program.
  • Actively participate in a collaborative and engaged team environment where best practice sharing is valued and encouraged.
  • Adhere to standard work to ensure consistency throughout the program.
  • Maintain an on onsite presence while supporting classes.

Preferred:

  • Experience completing the Training Consultants Program preferred.
