Role Overview:

Under the direction of the Security Supervisor, the Security Officer is responsible for ensuring compliance with all security policies and operational procedures. Officers will execute the Corporate Security vision, mission, and goals as delegated by the Director of Security.

What You'll Do:

• Work weekends, shifts, and extended hours as required.
• Control the flow of visitors entering the building, ensuring only authorized individuals are admitted.
• Provide executive protection, bodyguard, or chauffeur duties.
• Write reports and conduct investigations related to thefts, accidents, property damage, harassment, etc.
• Perform various security functions including post assignments (indoors or outdoors), perimeter patrols, scheduling, or coordinating car services.
• Follow instructions from Security Supervisors and other staff as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring:

• Prior law enforcement experience of 10+ years required.
• Must be licensed to carry an unrestricted concealed weapon within New York City.
• CPR/AED training preferred.
• Ability to react quickly to sensitive situations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for professional interactions.
• Bi-lingual in English/Spanish preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Prior security experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree is a plus but not required.

Pay Transparency:

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000

Overtime eligibility: Nonexempt

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes

Sales bonus eligible: No

Base salary will depend on experience, skills, and location. Employees are also eligible for annual discretionary bonuses and participation in incentive programs.
