Job summary

Atrium is seeking a Well-Being & Benefits professional to advise employees on benefits and insurance programs, and to resolve complex claims. You will train new staff on HRIS, ticketing, and document handling, while mentoring junior colleagues to promote standardized processes and operational efficiency.

You will also support the leadership team on escalated matters, engage with carriers and cross-functional partners, and develop reference materials to close knowledge gaps across the Well-Being

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail and independent assessment of projects.

Responsibilities

• Advise employees to navigate benefits and insurance programs and resolve claims.
• Provide Well-Being & Benefits training to new department colleagues, including HRIS overviews.
• Advise and mentor junior colleagues on best practices and standardize work to improve efficiency.
• Support leadership with escalated matters, coordinating with carriers, IT, Payroll and related teams.
• Create content and reference materials to address knowledge gaps for the team.

Job description

• Advising employees to help them navigate and access a wide variety of the firm’s benefits and insurance programs, advocating on their behalf to resolve complex benefits issues and insurance claims.
• Providing Well-Being & Benefits training to new department colleagues, including overviews of programs, the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), ticketing system, and document management
• Advising and mentoring junior colleagues on best practices, including cross-training, focusing on team knowledge, and the standardization of work promoting operational efficiencies
• Supporting the Well-Being & Benefits leadership team with escalated/complex matters, looping in other stakeholders (i.e. Insurance carriers, Technology & Information Systems, Payroll, and other adjacent teams), recommending solutions to resolve issues as necessary
• Leveraging established knowledge and best practices to create content/reference materials for the team, and raising opportunities to address knowledge gaps to the Well-Being & Benefits Manager

• Exhibit strong attention to detail and the ability to critically and independently assess proposed projects, communications, and/or solutions

And have:

• A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent; a minimum of nine (9) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• A minimum of five (5) years of cumulative professional experience
