Job summary

Medical device Manufacturing Company is seeking a Sr Sourcing Specialist and/or Category Lead for 100% remote work. You will manage strategic sourcing for software, cloud, hardware, and technology services, lead RFP/RFQ processes, negotiate contracts, and guide supplier relationships to reduce costs and mitigate risk.

You will collaborate with Legal, Finance, Privacy, Cybersecurity, PMO, Quality, and business teams to ensure compliant onboarding and successful TSA transitions, while tracking

Qualifications

• 5+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, or supplier management.
• Experience sourcing software, cloud services, hardware, infrastructure, telecom, and technology services.
• Strong experience with supplier negotiations and achieving cost savings or avoidance.
• Understanding of technology markets, pricing, software licensing, and contracts.
• Experience handling multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support category planning and sourcing strategies for senior leaders.
• Ensure sourcing activities comply with security, privacy, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance, renewals, risks, and business continuity.

Job Description:

This role is responsible for finding and managing suppliers for IT and technology services. You will work with areas such as software, cloud services, hardware, infrastructure, telecommunications, digital solutions, and technology services.

You will manage RFPs/RFQs, supplier selection, price negotiations, contracts, renewals, and supplier relationships. You will also work closely with different business teams to find the right suppliers, control costs, reduce risks, and support business needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage strategic sourcing for software, cloud services, hardware, infrastructure, telecommunications, and other technology services.
• Create and manage RFPs and RFQs and help select the right suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, SOWs, renewals, amendments, and other agreements with suppliers.
• Work with business teams to provide supplier recommendations, market information, pricing information, and contract guidance.
• Manage multiple sourcing projects, supplier discussions, and contract negotiations at the same time.
• Support Senior Sourcing Managers with category planning and sourcing strategies.
• Manage both high-priority projects and daily sourcing activities while meeting deadlines.
• Support TSA exit projects by finding and onboarding new suppliers, technologies, and services.
• Help move services from existing TSA agreements to new suppliers and replacement services.
• Work with Legal, Finance, Privacy, Cybersecurity, PMO, Quality, and business teams during contract and supplier onboarding activities.
• Make sure sourcing and contracts follow security, privacy, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance, contract renewals, risks, and business continuity.
• Track technology trends, supplier offerings, market conditions, and new technology solutions.
• Help improve procurement processes and sourcing procedures.
• Support supplier relationship management and long-term sourcing strategies.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, technology contracting, or supplier management.s
• Experience sourcing software, cloud services (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), hardware, infrastructure, telecommunications, and technology services.
• Strong experience with supplier negotiations and achieving cost savings or cost avoidance.
• Understanding of technology markets, supplier pricing, software licensing, and contracts.
• Experience handling multiple projects and deadlines at the same time.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
