Infotech seeks a Senior Solutions Engineer to deliver and maintain cloud solutions that are scalable, reliable, secure, and cost-efficient, while providing excellent service and technical assistance to customers and internal teams.

You will perform installations, upgrades, configurations, and data migrations for AASHTOWare products, and you will deploy Infotech services on AWS while maintaining environments for cost efficiency, availability, and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience with troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Experience with cloud environments and configuration automation.

Responsabilités

• Perform installations, upgrades, configurations, and data migrations for AASHTOWare products.
• Lead large migration paths from on-premises to AWS and from EC2 to containers.
• Deploy products on AWS and maintain environments for cost efficiency, availability, and performance.
• Ensure privacy and security across services following NIST 800-53 and GovRAMP.
• Provide technical assistance to Development, Support, and QA teams.
• Deliver technical training to customers.

Infotech® is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer who is passionate about delivering and maintaining innovative cloud solutions that are scalable, reliable, secure, and cost efficient, while providing excellent service and technical assistance. If you are driving on a highway in North America, there is a good chance that Infotech® software was used to build it. 88% of state transportation agencies in the U.S. use Infotech-developed software to manage their road construction projects*. As a member of the Hosting and Technical Services team, you will provide hands‑on technical assistance with software implementations, including installations, upgrades, configurations, and data migrations, for customers and for our development, testing, and support environments. You will also build and maintain Windows-based cloud environments on Amazon Web Services, bridging the gap between customer-installed software and software as a service. With a broad range of technical skills, you will recommend and deliver solutions for a wide variety of customer and internal needs, develop custom reports and interfaces, and share your expertise through customer training.

• Perform and assist with installations, upgrades, application configurations, and data migrations for AASHTOWare products and services.
• We are currently working on two large-scale migration paths (on-premises to AWS and EC2 to containers), and you'll be involved in both.
• Deploy AASHTOWare products with Infotech services on Amazon Web Services and maintain those environments for cost efficiency, availability, reliability, and performance.
• Help ensure a high level of privacy and security across all services and accounts, adhering to NIST 800-53 and GovRAMP controls as applicable.
• Provide technical assistance to other Infotech departments, including Development, Support, and QA.
• Deliver engaging technical training on AASHTOWare products to new and existing customers.

• Windows Server administration with strong IIS experience
• DBA experience with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle
• Azure, Google Cloud Platform

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and 3+ years of relevant experience requiring technical troubleshooting and problem solving, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong Windows Server administration experience (IIS and Active Directory management - PowerShell skills especially valuable).
• Basic database administration knowledge is especially valuable. In-depth SQL experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server to query complex data, including familiarity with views, synonyms, triggers, stored procedures, and database links.
• Experience working with cloud environments and configuration automation, particularly AWS.
• Experience providing technical training.
