Job summary

Databricks is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to drive customer success across the sales lifecycle in our Denver-based team. You will engage with executive-level stakeholders, design data analytics solutions, and lead technical workshops to demonstrate Databricks Data Intelligence Platform value.

You'll coach peers, influence decision-makers, and travel as needed, shaping platform adoption and strategic outcomes for enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of customer-facing technical experience.
• Experience engaging in complex customer interactions and sales lifecycle in a technical pre-sales capacity.
• Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level executives by developing relationships and orchestrating teams for long-term customer success.
• Hands-on experience with coding in core programming languages (Python, Java, Scala) and willingness to learn Spark.
• Hands-on expertise with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platforms.
• Ability to provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs and navigate a competitive landscape.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer engagement strategies in partnership with Account Executives in your designated territory.
• Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use case prioritization and building technical champions.
• Influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements with the wider cloud ecosystem and 3rd party applications, ensuring alignment with the Databricks vision.
• Serve as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor for data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
• Contribute to Databricks' technical community engagement by developing customer-facing collateral and leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
