Leidos is seeking a Sr. Solution Train Engineer to support SAFe-based Solution Train and ART operations on a large mission-critical program.
You will assist Release Train Engineers, drive impediment removal, and coordinate program-wide software and architecture releases in a DevOps environment. An experienced, energetic Sr. Solution Train Engineer (STE) is needed to support Solution Train and Agile Release Train (ART) operations for a large mission-critical program using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). The program includes one Solution Train and multiple ARTs. The selected individual will support the Release Train Engineers (RTEs) in monitoring performance, managing change, resolving impediments, and driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring significant experience leading agile teams and be prepared to step into a Solution Train Engineer leadership role on a large, complex program with demanding interface, performance, and security requirements. Strong communication skills, flexibility, and persistence are essential. Program execution follows DevOps best practices and uses mature development, test, and production environments. The program uses Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and test automation tools alongside a full suite of team collaboration tools. Leidos is the prime contractor providing systems engineering, development, test, integration, and operational support. The program focuses on introducing new technology and advanced capabilities while sustaining an ongoing mission and operational system.

Pay Range $131,300.00 - $237,350.00
