  • PI Planning Leadership: Facilitate and continuously improve PI Planning events across multiple ARTs. Ensure alignment of Vision, Backlogs, Dependencies, and PI Objectives. Coach stakeholders on effective pre- and post-PI processes (backlog readiness, inspect & adapt).
  • Lead the strategy and execution of large-scale Program Increment (PI) Planning events, aligning all team members toward a unified vision and set of PI objectives.
  • Safe Training and Enablement: Deliver and support SAFe training (e.g., Leading SAFe, SAFe for Teams, PO/PM) to leaders and teams, enable certification readiness, and reinforce SAFe principles through ongoing coaching.
  • Stakeholder Mentorship: Educate company, program, and customer leads and team members on how to map SAFe milestones to program requirements.
  • Sustainment & DevSecOps Strategy: Guide the integration of automated testing and DevSecOps into long-term sustainment workflows to reduce technical debt throughout systems.
  • Agile Center of Excellence: Lead a Lean-Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) to drive organizational maturity, conduct Maturity Assessments, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Metrics, Flow, and Continuous Improvement: Implement and coach SAFe flow metrics, including Flow Velocity, Flow Time, Predictability, and Quality.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and at least 12 years of relevant work experience. Additional relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.

  • Experience with large, complex systems (software + hardware integration).
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary technical development teams.
  • Experience affecting change in organizations working towards agile adoption.
  • Experience briefing leadership/customers on key status and project progression.
  • Experience communicating with and briefing status to external stakeholders, including customer/government representatives.
  • Proficiency with Agile tools (e.g. Jira, VersionOne, Rally, IBM ELM, etc.).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment across diverse systems and groups.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Clearance Required: Must have TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current Full Time Agile Coaching experience on a large, technical software program.
  • Significant technology experience in software development, test, or systems engineering such that a candidate could qualify on the program as a participant software, test, or systems engineer.
  • Experience in the software development lifecycle - as a developer, tester, analyst, product manager, etc.
