Job summary
Leidos is seeking a Sr. Solution Train Engineer to support SAFe-based Solution Train and ART operations on a large mission-critical program.
You will assist Release Train Engineers, drive impediment removal, and coordinate program-wide software and architecture releases in a DevOps environment. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, 12+ years of experience, 7+ years leading teams, 5+ years in large software efforts, and TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
- 7+ years leading teams or projects.
- 5+ years supporting large software development, systems, integration, and test efforts.
- Experience as Scrum Master and Release Train Engineer/Solution Train Engineer.
- Experience with SAFe and PI Planning.
- Experience with agile tools (Jira, VersionOne, Rally, IBM ELM).
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Solution Train and ART operations.
- Work with SAFe governance stakeholders on program execution.
- Support work allocation across ARTs.
- Monitor performance, remove impediments, and drive improvement.
- Coordinate schedules and program-wide software and architecture releases.
- Lead PI Planning and related events.
- Facilitate Scrum of Scrums and cross-team collaboration.
- Track feature and capability execution through program metrics.
- Brief customers on progress, testing, deployment, and release readiness.
- Coach teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and leaders in agile practices.
