Job summary

Coupa seeks a Senior Solution Advisor, I&O to provide expert pre-sales support for Intake and Orchestration in a fast-paced, globally operating SaaS environment. You will partner with sales to design solutions, advise prospects on best practices, and enable the consulting team with up-to-date SME content.

The role requires 5+ years in applications presales, a Bachelor’s degree, and willingness to travel up to 50% domestically. Coupa emphasizes global well-being perks and a collaborative culture.

• 5+ years of experience in applications presales roles, especially in SaaS.
• Subject matter expert in Intake and Orchestration business challenges and solutions.
• Knowledge of business spend management challenges and solutions (Procurement, Sourcing, Analytics, Contract Management, Travel & Expense).

Responsibilities

• Provide functional product expertise during the pre-sales process, focusing on Intake and Orchestration offerings.
• Provide SME guidance to prospects and Coupa's sales team on best practices.
• Assist solutions consultants with demonstrations and SME support during prospect meetings.
• Lead training and enablement for intake and orchestration product/domain knowledge.
• Collaborate with Product Management on future product direction for Intake and Orchestration.
• Work with demo support to keep content current in demo environments.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Proposal teams as an SME for market positioning, webinars, and collateral.

The Impact of a Sr Solution Advisor, I&O at Coupa:

What You’ll Do:

• Providing functional product expertise during the pre-sales process, with primary focus on demonstrating Coupa’s Intake and Orchestration offerings.
• Providing subject matter expertise around Intake and Orchestration best practices that provide valuable guidance to prospects (and Coupa’s sales team).
• Assisting solutions consultants as they prepare for demonstrations and/or providing SME support during prospect meetings when necessary.
• Training and enablement lead for the solutions consulting team in terms of intake and orchestration product and domain knowledge.
• Collaborating with Coupa’s Product Management team with regards to future product direction for Intake and Orchestration, based on innovation and prospect requirements.
• Working with Coupa’s demo support team to provide rich and up to date content in our demo environments.
• Collaborating with various internal departments such as Product Marketing and Proposal Management as a SME for Intake and Orchestration market positioning, webinars and collateral.

What You Will Bring to Coupa:

• 5+ years of experience in applications presales roles, especially in a SaaS environment.
• Subject matter expertise in Intake and Orchestration business challenges and solutions.
• Knowledge of business spend management challenges and solutions (Procurement, Sourcing, Analytics, Contract Management, Travel & Expense Management).
• Ability to both excel as an individual contributor in a pre-sales role, but also train and mentor others to increase their knowledge and expertise.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced and passionate environment.
• Travel up to 50%, domestic travel.
• Bachelor’s Degree required
