Pay Range : $75.21 - $80.21 per hour

Job Summary :

We are seeking a Sr. Software QA Engineer to focus on Android app testing for our mobile applications with a high user base, ensuring high quality and efficient app performance. The role entails designing test plans, automating test cases, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to enforce quality standards throughout the development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring over 5+ years of mobile QA experience, with a strong emphasis on Android platforms, to streamline our testing processes and contribute to multiple ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and execute black box test plans.
• Perform regression, exploratory, and functional testing across devices and OS versions.
• Collaborate with product, design, and development teams to define requirements and identify edge cases.
• Ensure software quality through the development lifecycle with cross-functional teams.
• Automate test cases and manage bug tracking with tools like JIRA.

Must-Have Skills :

• Deep understanding of Android UI / UX and QA methodologies.
• Proficiency in tools like Espresso or Appium for test automation.
• Exceptional problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Preferred Industry Experience :

• Significant QA experience on Android mobile applications, preferably with apps exceeding 100k active users.

This role calls for a candidate who is independent, has a sharp eye for detail, and possesses excellent communication skills.
