The US base salary for this full-time role is $165,000 - $375,000, plus bonuses and other benefits. Compensation depends on location, skills, experience, and education. BNSF offers a comprehensive benefits package.

As an Identity and Access Management Engineer, you will:

• Design, implement, and maintain IAM systems for secure access.
• Manage user identities, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and lifecycle management.
• Automate access management and identity processes.
• Enforce access controls and security policies to safeguard data and resources.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Perform audits and monitor IAM systems for vulnerabilities.
• Support IAM systems and resolve access issues.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Basic Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the US.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

• Experience in IAM engineering with successful solution delivery.

• Knowledge of IAM systems like provisioning, directory services, password management, access reviews, and security controls.
• Experience with multiple technologies such as C, Java, web services, LDAP, cloud services, etc.
• Familiarity with cloud environments.
• Understanding of system architecture, design, and reliability.
• Experience with continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and forensic analysis.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience integrating IAM with development tools and working in DevOps environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Willingness to commit to BNSF employment without future immigration assistance.
• Knowledge in advanced IAM topics like mTLS, OpenID Connect, FIDO2, PIM, enterprise RDBMS, and ESB technologies.
• IAM certifications are a plus.
