RLI is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer (.NET Full Stack) with 8-10 years of professional software development experience to join our Software Engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and support modern enterprise applications using the Microsoft technology stack while helping advance RLI's digital transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a strong full-stack engineer with experience building scalable, cloud-ready applications using .NET, Blazor, RESTful APIs, and microservices. You will collaborate with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and fellow engineers to deliver secure, high-quality software that supports critical insurance business capabilities.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
8-10 years of professional software development experience.
Strong experience developing enterprise applications using C# and .NET.
Experience developing modern web applications using:
Experience working with:
Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Experience using Git for source control.
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
Experience working in Agile software development environments.
Experience using AI-assisted software development tools to accelerate coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
Demonstrated ability to evaluate and adopt emerging technologies that improve software delivery and engineering efficiency.
