Job summary

RLI Insurance Company in Alpharetta, GA is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer (.NET Full Stack) with 8–10 years of professional software development to design, develop, and support enterprise applications on the Microsoft stack.

You will collaborate with architects, product owners, and engineers to deliver secure, scalable software that supports core insurance capabilities, using Blazor, RESTful APIs, and microservices in a cloud-ready environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 8–10 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with C# and .NET.
• Experience building modern web apps using Blazor, Razor, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
• Experience with MongoDB, SQL Server, and Kafka.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in Agile environments and AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using C# and the .NET platform.
• Build responsive, modern web apps using Blazor, Razor, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Develop secure, scalable RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Design and implement microservices supporting distributed, event-driven apps.
• Develop data access solutions with MongoDB and SQL Server.
• Implement asynchronous messaging and event streaming with Kafka.
• Participate in solution architecture, design reviews, and code reviews.
• Build and maintain automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, and stakeholders in Agile teams.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance; mentor junior engineers.
