Job summary

Advanced-Sciences-and-Technologies- is seeking a Software Engineer III to join a collaborative agile team. You will develop maintenance and upgrades for tactical systems and participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and security clearances.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, 5–7 years in software development and experience with Java, C++, Python, Linux/UNIX, and UML.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Computer Science or related field) or equivalent.
5-7 years' experience in software development, maintenance, or support in an Open/Layered Architecture Environment.
Experience with Java, C++, or Python.
Experience with Agile scaled principles.
Familiar with UML syntax and its use.
Strong Linux/UNIX experience.
Experience with IDEs such as Eclipse.

Responsibilities

Develop software maintenance and upgrade solutions for tactical systems on a collaborative agile team.
Engage in all activities of the software development lifecycle and support process requirements and reviews.
