Amazon QuickSight is bring new Agentic AI capabilities that power data-driven organizations with unified business intelligence (BI) at hyperscale. With QuickSight, all users can meet varying analytic needs from the same source of truth through modern interactive dashboards, pixel-perfect reports, embedded analytics, and natural language queries. With Amazon Q in QuickSight, business analysts and business users can use natural language to build, discover, and share meaningful insights in seconds, turning insights into impact faster. Next, we are bringing together new Q Business Generative AI capabilities inside of QuickSight to make it the most compelling experience for business users.

In this role with Amazon Q in QuickSight, you will enhance and build new foundational components and user experiences to enable integrating generative AI capabilities with existing features for business users. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical and leadership experience to work with team of stellar engineers to drive multi-year design and architecture decisions. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
