As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with customers requiring specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Amazon QuickSight powers data-driven organizations with unified business intelligence (BI) at hyperscale. It enables users to meet various analytic needs through modern dashboards, reports, embedded analytics, and natural language queries.

We are seeking a full stack engineer with a strong sense of ownership and passion for delivering creative solutions for complex problems at scale. In this role, you will build experiences, services, and tools for Amazon QuickSight, with wide scope, autonomy, and ownership. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical and leadership experience to collaborate with a team of top engineers on multi-year design and architecture decisions, impacting how customers worldwide analyze and visualize data.

Software Engineers at Amazon partner with customers, stakeholders, product managers, and designers to define and execute product goals. You challenge yourself and others to find better solutions, demonstrate thought leadership through building solutions, and uphold high standards for code quality, design, and architecture.

Key job responsibilities
  • Help define architecture, own and implement specific components, and shape the overall experience
  • Contribute to defining best practices
  • Participate in planning, design, implementation, testing, operations, and process improvements within an autonomous team
  • Take responsibility for technical problem-solving, meeting product goals creatively, and developing best practices
  • Mentor and support the growth of other developers
