Job summary

PCI Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (.NET C#) in Pineville, NC to modernize and transform legacy systems into scalable, secure solutions. You will lead AI-assisted development, refactor critical components, and collaborate with IT leadership to shape future architecture.

With 10+ years of experience, you will own end-to-end delivery, build robust CI/CD pipelines, and ensure high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment. This hybrid role reports to the Software Development Manager.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development experience in .NET C#.
• Strong SQL skills with production query experience.
• Hands-on use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor) in production workflows.
• Proven experience modernizing applications and driving technical transformation.
• Ability to own and review AI-generated code and manage CI/CD pipelines.

Job Summary

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with 10+ years of professional experience and strong .NET C# skills who is passionate about modern development practices, transforming legacy systems, and building scalable solutions that make a real impact.

We build with AI.Our engineers use AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Cursor every day to understand legacy code, refactor, write tests, and ship faster. We’re looking for someone who already works this way and holds

AI-assisted work to the same standard as their own.

You’ll work closely with our technical leadership to shape the next generation of our platform: refactoring and modernizing legacy applications, helping define future architecture, and building robust, automated pipelines. Your contributions will be highly visible.
