Job summary

PCI Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (.NET C#) in Pineville, NC to modernize and transform legacy systems into scalable, secure solutions. You will lead AI-assisted development, refactor critical components, and collaborate with IT leadership to shape future architecture.

With 10+ years of experience, you will own end-to-end delivery, build robust CI/CD pipelines, and ensure high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment. This hybrid role reports to the Software Development Manager.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development experience in .NET C#.
• Strong SQL skills with production query experience.
• Hands-on use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor) in production workflows.
• Proven experience modernizing applications and driving technical transformation.
• Ability to own and review AI-generated code and manage CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Refactor and modernize legacy applications to support scalable platforms.
• Define future architecture and build robust, automated pipelines.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Own AI-assisted development workflows and review AI-generated code.
• Support production systems with rotating on-call responsibilities.
