Job summary

KinderCare in Beaverton, Oregon is seeking an experienced front-end developer to collaborate with project managers and design leads to translate high-fidelity designs into semantic web templates. You will build interactive UIs using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and ensure responsive performance across devices.

You'll work closely with designers to ensure integration accuracy, audit landing pages to optimize key metrics, and coordinate with back-end developers to integrate business logic.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of front-end web development experience.
• 3+ years with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and React.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and Sitecore; Sitecore certification is a plus.
• Experience with cross-browser rendering and responsive design.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of demonstrable experience producing web front end development (agency experience is a plus), with a minimum of 3 years proven track record with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and React
• Excellent knowledge of Google optimization and familiarity with SEO Best Practices
• Proficiency in responsive CSS utilities, such as flexbox or CSS grids
• Good understanding of CMS; Sitecore developer experience strongly preferred
• Several years of experience working with RESTful API and Sitecore API; Sitecore certification a plus
• Confirmed experience solving cross browser rendering challenges: desktop (Chrome, Safari, Edge), mobile (iOS, Android) and previous work with source/version control software (GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.)
• Ability to optimize web pages/applications for high traffic websites; understanding layout aesthetics, UI animation and ensuring high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency
• Significant experience with structured Agile software development methodologies
