Job Description: Automation Test Engineer

Design and develop automated tests.

1. Architect and implement test frameworks.
2. Participate actively in a CI/CD-based development/testing environment, including reviews and planning activities.
3. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test matrices.
4. Identify, document, and track defects.
5. Work in an agile development environment, collaborating with the engineering team to deliver quality software iteratively.
6. Contribute to process and test methodology improvements, enhancing execution efficiency and effectiveness.

Skills You Need to Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering and automation.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in JavaScript, Java, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with testing frameworks like Playwright, Mocha, PyTest, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, Selenium, Appium.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and web-based UI automation.
• Experience creating and maintaining complex automated test suites.
• Understanding of cloud-based application deployments and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Ability to identify bugs early and ensure software quality.
• Working knowledge of Jenkins and CI infrastructure setup.

Nice to Have Skills:

• 2+ years of QA lead experience.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, Taurus, etc.
• Experience with AWS.
• Background in security domain.
