As a software engineer, you will contribute significantly to the delivery of a new healthcare platform designed specifically for the clinical team. From design to implementation, you will partner with our engineering, product, and design teams in a fast-paced, agile environment to turn ideas into reality. Using modern methodologies and open source tools, you will be empowered to push development boundaries to deliver applications that directly impact our teams and patients.

Core Responsibilities:
  1. Contribute to all aspects of the SDLC process (SCRUM, Design, Code, Test, Deploy & Maintain)
  2. Design and build highly available, scalable, and responsive services & APIs using our tech stack
  3. Collaborate with Product, UX, and other Engineering teams
  4. Work with the Platform team following architecture best practices for scalability and reliability
  5. Participate in code reviews and promote best practices
  6. Improve overall code quality and maintainability
  7. Partner with tech leads to manage technical debt backlog
  8. Mentor junior engineers through pair programming
  9. Implement SecDevOps best practices
  10. Perform other duties as assigned
What we're looking for

We're seeking a motivated, experienced Engineer with:

  • Bachelor's in CS or relevant degree / work experience
  • 10+ years of experience building large consumer-facing products using JVM-based technologies (Kotlin or Java), or .NET APIs in the cloud
  • Expertise in threading and memory management for microservices
  • Proven ability to build resilient, scalable, and secure software
  • Experience optimizing MongoDB performance
  • Expertise in building distributed, event-driven, cloud-native environments in Azure/AWS using Docker/Kubernetes
