The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Senior Software Developer with expertise in PeopleSoft Application Development to join our team supporting a Department of Justice agency in the National Capital Region. This role involves building and maintaining enterprise software applications to meet business needs. The Senior Software Developer will work within an agile team, analyzing business processes, configuring, and developing software using PeopleSoft, and ensuring high-quality solutions. Strong communication skills are essential. This position offers a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate with Business Analysts to understand client needs and requirements.
2. Assist in designing and developing PeopleSoft applications based on business requirements.
3. Upgrade and modify PeopleSoft applications as needed.
4. Prepare project plans and technical/functional specifications.
5. Conduct code reviews and suggest improvements.
6. Identify and troubleshoot coding issues promptly.
7. Ensure project deliverables meet business needs and are completed on time.
8. Support system testing and bug fixing activities.
9. Recommend new coding techniques to improve quality and usability.

Qualifications:

Required:

• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and hold a Top Secret clearance (sponsorship available).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or equivalent.
• At least 7 years of experience with the PeopleSoft code base.
• At least 7 years of experience with PeopleSoft technical architecture.
• Understanding of Oracle database structures.

Desired:

• Certified SAFe Practitioner.
• Experience with PeopleSoft Federal HRMS is a plus.

Pay Range

The salary range is $94,400 - $198,300, influenced by factors like location, experience, skills, education, and certifications. We offer competitive benefits, including healthcare, wellness, retirement, family support, continuing education, and time off. Learn more here.
