Job summary

Inserso Corporation seeks a Sr Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain AFRC web applications using .NET technologies and SQL Server for federal customers.

The role is primarily on-site at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia with some hybrid telework. Candidates must have DoD credentials including a Secret clearance and a proven ability to deliver secure, high-performance software for critical missions.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with DoD clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT-related discipline or equivalent experience.
• DoD 8140 compliance via required certifications; Security+ required or willing to obtain.
• 3+ years of software development with .NET, Visual Studio, and ADO.NET.
• Strong understanding of architectural patterns and best practices.
• Experience with C#, VB.Net, and Classic ASP.
• Experience with ASP.NET, MVC, Razor, Bootstrap, JQuery, CSS, HTML, and Telerik Kendo components.
• Extensive Microsoft SQL Server experience including SSRS/SSIS, T-SQL, stored procedures, schema design, performance.
• Experience with WCF and REST services.
• Unit testing with Arrange-Act-Assert and Moq.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Inserso is seeking a candidate to join our team to provide mission-critical Data and Software Development support to our federal customers. The Sr Software Developer will create, sustain, and upgrade AFRC web applications. The position requires knowledge of software development, testing and implementation. The position will be primarily on-site with some hybrid telework flexibility at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia.

Responsibilities

Required Skills/Experience

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an IT‑related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Must meet DoD 8140 compliance through required certifications for elevated network privilege (e.g., CompTIA Security+). If the candidate doesn't already possess, must be willing to obtain it prior to an agreed upon date.
• Holds a current active DoD Secret clearance or have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• 3+ years of experience in software development using Visual Studio, with a focus on .NET and ADO.NET entity framework technologies.
• Strong understanding of architectural patterns, design principles, and best practices.
• Experience in the following languages: C#, VB.Net and Classic ASP.
• Understanding of presentation layer technologies such as ASP.NET, MVC 4, Razor, Bootstrap, JQuery, CSS, HTML and Telerik Kendo ASP.NET MVC web components.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Reporting Services, Integration Services including SQL, T‑SQL, stored procedures, views, schema design, and performance optimization.
• Understanding of WCF and REST to provide internal and external services.
• Develop unit tests using the Arrange, Act, Assert test pattern to Moq the application.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
