About Securboration:

Securboration was founded in 2001 on the belief that Security and Collaboration will have a significant impact on the evolution of software architecture across a variety of domains. We develop technologies for secure and collaborative environments spanning intelligence operations, mission planning, effects-based assessment, adversarial modeling, C2ISR, and cyber operations. Our work focuses on successful transitions of advanced technology to solve Department of Defense mission needs.
Position Overview:

Securboration is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to support our contract with Air Combat Command (ACC) and the 363d Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Wing Group (363d ISRWG). The 363d ISR Wing, headquartered at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, conducts lethal, resilient, and ready operations across analysis for air, space, and cyber operations; full-spectrum targeting; special operations ISR; and ISR testing, tactics development, and advanced training.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain database architectures and data interfaces that support ACC/363d ISRWG mission applications.
  • Develop, document, and consume application programming interfaces (APIs) that integrate mission systems, data sources, and user-facing applications.
  • Work on-site and in close collaboration with government customers, analysts, and operators to gather requirements, demonstrate capabilities, and iterate based on user feedback.
  • Participate in an agile development process, including design discussions, code reviews, testing, and deployment support.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues across databases, services, and user interfaces; recommend practical technical solutions.
  • Produce clear technical documentation, interface control notes, and briefings for both technical and operational audiences.
  • Follow security, configuration-management, and software-assurance practices appropriate to a TS/SCI environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related technical discipline.
  • 1–5 years of related professional software engineering experience.
  • Hands‑on experience with database architectures and interfaces (relational and/or NoSQL), including schema design, queries, and application integration.
  • Experience designing, building, and/or consuming application programming interfaces (APIs), including RESTful or similar HTTP-based services.
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with customers and end users; strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Active Top Secret / SCI clearance required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or C2ISR / targeting mission systems.
  • Familiarity with SQL and common database platforms (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or equivalent).
  • Experience with Git or comparable version-control systems and collaborative development workflows.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in small, customer-facing teams.
  • Experience deploying or integrating software in secure or air-gapped government environments.
  • Self-starter who can own assigned components from requirements through delivery with limited supervision.

Clearance:

This position requires an active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance. Candidates who cannot meet this requirement will not be considered.

Location:

On-site support to ACC / 363d ISRWG. Primary customer presence is at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. Specific work location and any hybrid arrangements will be confirmed with the selected candidate consistent with contract and customer requirements.
