Are you a skilled communicator with a knack for bridging the gap between business needs and technical requirements? We're looking for a Senior Software Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. This is a remote position with a 12-month contract, offering a competitive rate of $92/hr.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with Product Owners, UX Designers, and Software Engineers to define the scope and effort of proposed features.
2. Elicit, document, analyze, and track business requirements from stakeholders.
3. Facilitate cross-functional solutioning sessions to ensure alignment between business goals, user experience, and technical implementation.
4. Translate business requirements into clear, testable user stories.
5. Lead user story grooming sessions with UX Designers, Developers, and QA Analysts.
6. Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and work to mitigate them.
7. Develop a deep understanding of the application components and become a subject matter expert on the features and workflows.

Skills

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field OR equivalent work experience.
2. Ten or more years of experience as a Software Business Analyst working on customer-facing web-based software.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
4. Proficiency in translating intricate business requirements into comprehensive and testable user stories.
5. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
6. Experience working in an Agile methodology like Scrum.

Preferred Skills

1. Experience in Orthodontics.
2. Experience or skills in Project Management.
3. Experience in Healthcare or other regulated industries.
4. Experience collaborating with UX Designers.
5. Experience with BDD/Gherkin Acceptance Criteria format.
6. Experience in Azure DevOps (Boards).
