Position Overview

We are seeking a Sr. Social Media Manager who will be a key leader on our social team, responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social strategies for our consumer brand clients. The Sr. Social Media Manager will oversee social media operations, develop platform-specific strategies, and drive measurable engagement across all current and emerging social platforms. They will lead all aspects of social media management including publishing, monitoring trends, community management, and reporting on content performance to optimize strategy.

This role focuses on our consumer brand clients, working on projects from travel to lifestyle to product. The ideal candidate understands the social landscape for consumer marketing, follows the latest trends, and understands campaign cycles. They should be creative, innovative, data-driven, and passionate about social media.

Reporting to the Associate Director, Social, they will contribute to RFPs by developing platform strategies and providing insights on social trends. They will work closely with the Associate Director to ensure strategy and ideation are aligned with social best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute social media strategies for multiple consumer brand clients
  • Create platform-specific strategies for Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, and Reddit to maximize engagement
  • Stay informed on industry trends, platform updates, and competitive projects to inform strategy
  • Monitor cultural trends and news to inform content and identify opportunities
  • Produce performance reports on key metrics such as engagement, reach, views, and growth
  • Make strategic recommendations based on data and industry benchmarks
  • Manage client social media accounts, ensuring alignment with marketing goals
  • Build positive relationships with clients and solve problems as needed
  • Create and manage editorial calendars for campaigns
  • Publish content consistently across platforms, maintaining brand voice
  • Present strategies and reports to clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Strategy Coordinators for content scheduling and publication
Qualifications
  • 4-6 years in social media management and digital marketing
  • Proven success in developing and executing social strategies
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in metrics and reporting
  • Expertise in major platforms: Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, Reddit
  • Proficiency in tools like Sprout, Sprinklr, Meta Business Suite
  • Excellent project management and deadline skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Experience presenting to clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to grow social media audiences
  • Deep understanding of platform-specific best practices
  • Experience in lifestyle, F&B, or travel sectors is a plus
Location and Salary

This is a full-time, exempt role with a salary range of $100,000-$120,000, depending on experience. The contract-to-hire period is three months. This is a remote role, ideally in New York or New Jersey, working East Coast hours.
