Canadian Solar’s e-STORAGE unit in Arizona is seeking a Service Technician to join the field service team. You will commission SolBank Storage Power Blocks, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, and manage LTSA obligations for BESS equipment.

Travel to project sites across the US will be required, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. The role requires at least 2 years in a service environment, OSHA 30 certification, inverter/SCADA knowledge, and excellent communication

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant service experience in renewables.
• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• Experience with inverters and SCADA systems.
• Knowledge of general and national codes and medium voltage power systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Experience with CMMS software is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel over 50% of the time.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilités

• Commission SolBank Storage Power Block and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Maintain SPBs to warranty requirements and LTSA obligations.
• Oversee subcontractors on site when required and ensure safety compliance.
• Develop and follow standard operating procedures and checklists.
• Complete work order documentation promptly and accurately.
• Manage spare parts inventory and perform Lockout/Tagout procedures as needed.
• Assist in client training during commissioning and handover.

In this role, you’ll play an integral part of the service team, primarily responsible for commissioning and performing preventative and corrective maintenance on SolBank Storage Power Block (SPB). This role also involves fulfilling obligations under Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA’s) for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. The successful candidate must be willing to travel and perform tasks at various project sites throughout the US. Experience with BESS or renewable power generation equipment in a service environment is required.Whilst you’re working in field services, your work will directly impact our mission to create a cleaner, brighter future.
