Job summary

CS e-Storage (US) Inc. seeks a Sr. Service Technician to commission and maintain SolBank Storage Power Block systems across US project sites. You’ll perform preventive and corrective maintenance, manage LTSA obligations for BESS equipment, and travel to multiple locations as needed.

The role requires at least 5 years in a service environment, OSHA 30, valid driver’s license, and SCADA/CMMS familiarity. You will ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery of service commitments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant service experience, preferably in renewable energy.
• OSHA 30 certification (OSHA 10 accepted if obtained soon after hire).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to travel over 50%.
• Experience with inverter and energy storage systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Commission SolBank Storage Power Block.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on SPBs to warranty specs.
• Manage LTSA obligations for BESS equipment (ESCs, PCS, RMU, switchgear, transformers, SCADA).
• Provide onsite diagnostic, troubleshooting, and hands-on support.
• Supervise subcontractors on site when required.
• Document work orders timely and ensure spare parts accuracy.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout and switching procedures; support client training.

Sr. Service Technician

Location: US, Cooper, TX

Role Overview

Wondering what your day-to-day could look like as our new Sr. Service Technician? In this role, you’ll play an integral part of the service team, primarily responsible for commissioning and performing preventative and corrective maintenance on SolBank Storage Power Block (SPB). This role also involves fulfilling obligations under Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA’s) for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. The successful candidate must be willing to travel and perform tasks at various project sites throughout the US. Experience with BESS or renewable power generation equipment in a service environment is required. Whilst you’re working in field services, your work will directly impact our mission to create a cleaner, brighter future. What You’ll Be Doing

• Commission CSI Energy Storage’s SolBank Storage Power Block
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of SPBs to adhere to warranty requirements
• Manage obligations for BESS equipment under LTSA’s, which may include: Energy Storage Cabinets (ESC’s) Power Conversion Stations (PCS) Ring Main Units (RMU’s) / Switchgear Transformers SCADA and networking devices
• Provide onsite diagnostic, troubleshooting, and hands‑on support to maintain equipment and meet availability and capacity guarantees
• Oversee and supervise sub‑contractors on site when required
• Assist in developing standard operating procedures and processes
• Complete work order documentation in a timely manner
• Ensure accuracy of spare parts inventory
• Perform proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and switching procedures as needed
• Support client training during commissioning
• Adhere to all health and safety rules and policies
• Complete other duties and projects as assigned
• Team up with talented colleagues and partners to achieve project goals

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Electrical Technician
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a service environment, preferably in renewable energy
• OSHA 30 Certified (OSHA 10 certification is accepted if OSHA 30 is obtained soon after hire)
• Previous training and knowledge of inverters SCADA experience is beneficial
• Knowledge of general and national codes, medium voltage power systems, and Energy Storage system applications is an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Applications (Word, Excel)
• Previous experience with a CMMS software program is preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• First Aid Trained
• Ability to travel to regional locations as needed (over 50% of the time)
• Ability to work successfully both independently and within a team
• Demonstrated professional appearance and conduct
