Job summary

Paradise Energy Solutions is seeking a Sr. Service Technician, O&M in Ohio to perform testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance on solar systems. Expect rooftop work, electrical testing, and hands-on diagnostics with advanced equipment.

The candidate should hold a Journeyman license (Master Electrician preferred) and be capable of lifting up to 75 lbs. We offer competitive pay, travel pay, per diem, 401(k) match, PTO, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Skilled: Training and experience in testing and troubleshooting electrical systems. Journeyman license required; Master Electrician preferred. Solar experience is a plus, but not required.
• Active: Able to climb ladders, work from a roof, use hand tools, lift up to 75 lbs., and perform physical service work on solar systems.
• Safety Conscious: Use PPE, including safety harness. OSHA 10, First Aid & CPR certified or willing to obtain. Driver’s license with clean record.
• Team Player: Humble, excellent communicator, self-motivated, hard worker.
• Passionate: Excited about Solar Energy and eager to learn with training and company support.
• Knowledgeable: Able to use testing equipment like megger, PV check, IV-curve tracers, clamp-on meters, and digital multitesters; associate degree or cert preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use testing equipment to evaluate system performance and troubleshoot solar systems.
• Be part of the O&M initiative servicing systems from 2kW to 75MW+.
• Collaborate with team to ensure safety, quality, and on-time service.

What we’re looking for in a Sr. Service Technician, O&M

• Passionate: Excited about Solar Energy. Desire to continuously learn and build your knowledge and skills with full company support and both online and on-the-job training.
• Knowledgeable: Able to use testing equipment such as meggers, PV check and IV-curve tracers, clamp-on amp meters and digital multi-meters. An Associates’ degree or certificate from a trade school OR equivalent experience is preferred.
