Job summary

Scripps Health is seeking a Senior Service Technician to join the Engineering Department at our La Jolla campus. This full-time role involves installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance across buildings, equipment and grounds, with responsibility for critical utility systems and the central plant.

You will work with vendors and support a varied schedule, including weekends, to ensure reliable operations and safety throughout the Scripps Memorial Campus in La Jolla.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a trade or general building maintenance.
• Skilled in at least one Engineering trade, with practical experience in other trades.
• Responsibility with critical utility systems.
• Ability to work independently on systems or equipment and switch to back up systems in emergencies.
• Self-starter with excellent technical and customer service skills.
