We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Sr. Service Logistics Planner to join our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the movement of parts, tools, and service personnel to ensure efficient and timely field service delivery. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in logistics planning, data analysis, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage daily, weekly, and long-term service logistics plans to support field operations.
  • Coordinate with service teams, warehouse personnel, and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of parts and equipment.
  • Use our Install Base and part usage trends to analyze min levels, inventory levels, to optimize our depot (FSL) network, minimize delays and maintain our SLA KPIs.
  • Use advanced Excel/Google Sheets functions (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, query functions, scripts/macros) to build dashboards, automate reports, and analyze data.
  • Maintain and optimize planning tools and templates to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with service managers, supply chain teams, and customer support to ensure alignment and execution of service delivery.
  • Track KPIs such as fill rates, turnaround times, and on-time delivery performance; propose corrective actions as needed.
  • Assist in developing forecasting models for part demands based on historical trends and upcoming service schedules.
  • Submit new buy orders with backup analysis. Monitor the status of the new buy order requests, follow-up with the suppliers, as needed. Close out new buy orders and approve invoices.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in service logistics, supply chain planning, or field operations support.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets: Pivot tables, complex formulas, nested functions, data visualization (charts, conditional formatting), experience with macros, Google Apps Script, or VBA a strong plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and multiple internal systems (CRM, ERP, WMS, FSM platforms).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in field service logistics, especially in industries like medical devices, telecommunications, or industrial equipment.
  • Familiarity with tools like SAP, NetSuite, Salesforce, or ServiceMax.
  • Experience with automation tools or scripting languages for report generation.
