Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Security Specialist to join one of our software engineering clients in Exton, PA. The role focuses on facility security under NISPOM, coordinating with a co-Security Specialist to deliver strategic guidance and operational excellence across classified security domains.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in industrial/security roles, expert NISPOM knowledge, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of national security related experience in industrial/security roles.
• Experience managing secure facilities, secure accounts, classified programs and accreditation processes.
• Expert knowledge of NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 and ICD 705.
• Leadership to brief senior leadership and influence cross-functional teams.
• SSA or proxy-controlled environment experience is a plus.
• Active DoD security clearance; TS/SCI preferred.
• Experience developing enterprise security strategies and risk-based frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for all NISPOM facility security requirements and ensure compliance.
• Manage the Facility Security Program across physical, personnel, and information security domains.
• Support accreditation processes including SCIF/SAPF construction/modifications/inspections.
• Develop and refine security policies, SOPs, and training for employees and subcontractors.
• Support security incident investigations, corrective actions, and risk mitigation.
• Maintain liaison with DCSA, government customers, auditors, and senior executives.
• Provide guidance on emerging security regulations and threat trends.
• Support insider threat programs, access control, and visitor control.
• Conduct security audits and readiness assessments to maintain high compliance.

Must Haves –

• 10+ years of Industrial Security, Facility Security or relation national security related experience
• Experience managing secure facilities, establishing secure accounts, classified programs, and accreditation processes
• Expert-level knowledge of NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07, ICD 705, and associated facility security regulations.
• Experience leading complex security initiatives, influence cross‑functional teams, and brief senior leadership.
• Experience in a proxy‑controlled organization or Special Security Agreement (SSA) environment is a strong plus

Plusses:

• Active DoD security clearance required; TS/SCI preferred.
• Experience developing enterprise-level security strategies and risk‑based frameworks.

Day to Day –

Insight Global is seeking a Security Specialist that will join one of our software engineering clients. The Security Specialist will need to have deep expertise in facility security operations under the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). The ideal candidate will partner with a co‑Security Specialist to provide strategic guidance, operational excellence, and thought leadership across all aspects of classified facility security. Experience supporting or operating within a proxy‑controlled organization is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities –

• Serve as the subject matter expert for all NISPOM‑related facility security requirements, ensuring full compliance with DoD and Intelligence Community directives.
• Partner to manage the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Facility Security Program, including physical, personnel, and information security domains.
• Support classified facility accreditation processes, including SCIF/SAPF construction, modifications, inspections, and lifecycle management.
• Develop and refine security policies, standard operating procedures, and training programs for employees, leadership, and subcontractors.
• Support security incident investigations, reporting, corrective actions, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Maintain liaison and collaborative relationships with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), government customers, auditors, and senior executives.
• Provide thought leadership by advising on emerging security regulations, threat trends, and best practices affecting the enterprise.
• Support insider threat mitigation programs, access control processes, and visitor control functions.
• Conduct security audits, self‑inspections, and readiness assessments, ensuring a high state of compliance and operational security.

Compensation:

$55/hr to $65/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
