Job summary

Yum! Brands, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to protect one of the world’s largest digital platforms across KFC, Taco Bell, Habit Burger & Grill, and Yum!

corporate brands. The role focuses on web application security, cloud tech, and enterprise-scale engineering, with emphasis on WAF protections and secure API architecture. You will design, implement, and tune protections, automate security tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise WAF technologies (Akamai preferred; Cloudflare, Imperva, F5, AWS WAF also considered).
• Strong knowledge of HTTP/S, TLS/SSL, DNS, TCP/IP, CDN architecture, REST APIs, and web application security.
• Experience managing certificates, troubleshooting production environments, and responding to security incidents.
• Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash) is a plus.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, Security+, GSEC, or Akamai certifications are a bonus.

This role is ideal for a security professional passionate about web application security, cloud technologies, and enterprise-scale engineering.

Salary Range: 117,800 - 147,600
