VDart Inc. is seeking a Senior Scrum Master for a contract role in the NYC metro area. Hybrid local candidates only.

The Senior Scrum Master will lead Agile ceremonies, coach teams and stakeholders, and remove impediments to ensure timely delivery within a regulated, data-focused environment. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of Scrum Master experience, certifications (CSM/PSM/SAFe) are preferred, and strong communication and facilitation skills to drive continuous improvement and

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in financial services or data analytics contexts.
• CSM/PSM/SAFe certification preferred.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach teams and stakeholders in Scrum/Agile principles to foster self-organization and continuous improvement.
• Remove impediments, manage cross-team dependencies, and address blockers to keep delivery on track.
• Track and report progress using Jira or similar tools, including velocity, burndown, and delivery metrics.
• Drive delivery in a regulated environment with risk and compliance alignment.

Job Title: Senior Scrum Master

Location: NYC, New Jersey (Hybrid / Local candidates only)

Job Type: Contract
Only W2 Max Rate: $50/HR

JD:-

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies: Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, keeping them time-boxed, focused, and outcome-driven.
• Coach teams and stakeholders: Guide product owners, developers, and business partners in Scrum/Agile principles, fostering self-organization, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Remove impediments: Proactively identify and resolve blockers, manage cross-team dependencies, and escape risks early to keep delivery on track.
• Track and report progress: Maintain sprint and release visibility using Jira (or similar tools), reporting on velocity, burndown, and delivery metrics to leadership.
• Drive delivery in a regulated environment: Partner with product, engineering, risk, and compliance teams to ensure work aligns with S&P's data quality, security, and governance standards.
• Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Scrum master's in financial services or data/analytics environments; CSM, PSM, or SAFe certification preferred; strong communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
