Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a Senior Scrum Master for our Reston, VA based team. This onsite role requires U.S. citizenship and active TS/SCI eligibility. You will lead Agile delivery within a scaled environment, coach cross-functional teams, and partner with stakeholders to align priorities and delivery commitments.

You will facilitate ceremonies, support PI planning, manage risks and dependencies, and drive continuous improvement, leveraging Jira and Confluence for planning and reporting.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance or SCI eligibility.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8–10 years of Scrum Master or Agile delivery experience.
• Experience with SAFe or scaled Agile environments.
• Facilitate ceremonies and support Agile teams in planning, execution, and improvement.
• Experience with ART planning, PI planning, risk management, and cross-team coordination.
• Strong Jira/Confluence skills for tracking and reporting.
• Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, cloud or hybrid infra.
• Strong facilitation, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.
