Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Colorado is seeking a Senior Level Electrical System Integration/Test Engineer to join the GPS integration and test team within ATLO. You will participate in planning and executing electrical floor operations and develop automated test scripts, procedures, and documentation for spacecraft testing at factory and launch sites.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field, ATLO experience, and the ability to develop/test scripts with a high-level language.

  • US citizenship with ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and apply spacecraft test engineering principles.

  • Support Systems Engineering and CPEs in verification of test requirements.
  • Collaborate with external teams to solve test issues.
  • Support test procedure closure activities in Automation Framework.
  • Plan/execute EGSE verification procedures and ground test station tests.
  • Willing to work overtime and support off shifts/weekends in a 24/7 environment.

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Senior Level Electrical System Integration/Test Engineer to join the GPS integration and test team within Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations (ATLO). In this role you will participate in the planning/execution of electrical floor operations and will be responsible for developing automated test scripts, procedures, and other documentation needed to conduct spacecraft testing at both the factory and the launch site.

Summary Of Key Duties For This Position
  • Understand and use the principles and disciplines of spacecraft Test Engineering.
  • Author and maintain Automated Test Scripts used to conduct satellite tests.
  • Aid in planning spacecraft level test flow.
  • Support Systems Engineering and Certified Principle Engineers (CPEs) in the verification of test requirements.
  • Collaborate with external teams to solve spacecraft and/or EGSE performance issues.
  • Support test procedure closure activities in Automation Framework.
  • Plan/Execute specific Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) verification procedures (including RF test systems) and plan/execute nominal electrical procedures/scripts from ground test stations.
  • Willing to work some overtime and support off shifts and/or weekends in a 24/7 operations environment.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Assembly, integration and test experience.
  • Ability to develop and execute test scripts and perform tasks equivalent to an Electrical Certified Test Conductor (CTC).
  • Proficiency with a high-level scripting language (Python, PHP, Ruby, etc.) to support automated test script development, debug, and execution
  • Must be US citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret government security clearance
Desired Skills
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Possession of Secret security clearance highly preferred.
  • Experienced Test Conductor on Space Vehicle Integration and Test Programs, including: Component and System Level Functional and Environmental test
  • Experience in Space Vehicle Test Operations including the test development process, test execution, data analysis, and anomaly resolution
  • Excellent technical writing, planning and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated basic understanding of systems thinking skills and behavior
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
