Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a SAP MP&L Sr. Launch Engineer to drive readiness and launch execution for a large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation in Explore Phase.

This individual will bridge manufacturing operations with system integration teams and own testing strategies, governance, and stabilization efforts. The ideal candidate brings deep SAP S/4HANA expertise (MRP, Inventory, Master Data, Change Management), plus strong program management and cross-functional leadership to guide launch

Qualifications

• 7+ years of SAP Supply Chain/Manufacturing experience.
• Deep SAP S/4HANA expertise (MRP, Inventory, Master Data, Change Management).
• ERP, plant, or product launch experience, including testing and cutover.
• Cross-functional leadership and business process SME experience.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, material fulfillment, production control, and inventory processes.
• Project and stakeholder management experience.
• SAP IBP, EWM, MES, WMS, or EDI integration experience.
• Automotive manufacturing experience.
• Analytics/reporting experience (SAC, SQL, CDS Views).
• Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, or Agile certification.
• Consulting or system integrator experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead UAT and SIT activities.
• Develop interim business processes.
• Drive MDM and change management initiatives.
• Support labor and volume planning.
• Ensure successful launch execution from project kickoff through post-launch stabilization.

This individual will be responsible for driving material planning system readiness, governance, testing strategy, launch execution, and operational stabilization efforts across manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP, MRP, inventory management, material fulfillment, and supply chain operations while serving as a strategic leader between business operations and system integration teams. Key responsibilities include leading UAT and SIT activities, developing interim business processes, driving MDM and change management initiatives, supporting labor and volume planning, and ensuring successful launch execution from project kickoff through post-launch stabilization.
