Driving Infinite Possibilities Within A Diversified, Global Organization

Be the front-line seller who drives sales, identifying and generating opportunities for different kinds of customers. You will foster client satisfaction by maintaining regular customer contact and managing customer expectations. You will develop customer relationships through coordinating and attending trade shows, seminars, and similar events, as well as fostering channel partner relationships. You will provide education on Honeywell products through technical presentations. You will maintain and provide reports and opportunity status updates using our customer relationship management system. You will provide competitive intelligence and market trends insights. You will provide forecast/demand input to Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP).

You will report directly to the Sales Director and work remotely. The territory for this role covers the western US.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for Order, Revenue, and Margin AOP (Annual Operating Plan) for Terminal Gauging Business in AMER
  2. Grow win rate & market share in new builds, drive price premium working with end-users/own owner benefit document/value proposition
  3. Work closely with sales, operations, and leadership to establish strategies, drive results, and improve customer relationships, as measured by retained customers, new customers, and order value growth metrics
  4. Guide the order management team in creating compelling and competitive quotations to increase chances of winning
  5. Gain technical expertise on the terminal gauging portfolio to establish credibility with internal and external stakeholders
  6. Drive innovation on offerings and products through deep understanding of market, product insights, and competition
  7. Support Marketing to develop effective value propositions and compelling arguments to position Honeywell Terminal Gauging offerings versus competition
  8. Engage in business development activities and work with channel partners
  9. Maintain a strong Management Operating System (MOS) with channel partners to drive YOY performance at regional and customer levels
  10. Travel approximately 60%

The annual base salary range varies by location, e.g., $110,000 - $130,000 in California and New York (excluding major metro areas), and $120,000 - $140,000 in Washington and major metro areas in NY & CA. Salary offers depend on various factors including experience, education, skills, and market considerations.

This position is eligible for an incentive plan. The application period is approximately 40 days from posting, subject to change.

Minimum Requirements
  • 5+ years experience in a similar role within the Terminal Gauging industry
  • Strong knowledge of tank gauging/instrumentation market with a business management mindset
