Job summary

Senior Safety Manager (Ecommerce Environment) in Santa Fe Springs, CA, onsite. Lead safety programs for a high-volume warehouse, partnering with senior leaders to strengthen safety culture and compliance.

You will oversee audits, investigations, and metrics, driving process improvements and risk reduction while mentoring a safety team in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive safety leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, logistics, manufacturing, eCommerce, or industrial environments.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required.
  • Experience supporting large employee populations within complex operational environments.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA and Cal/OSHA regulations.
  • Extensive experience with LOTO, Machine Guarding, Electrical Safety, and forklift safety programs.
  • Proven success improving and transforming safety programs, procedures, and policies.
  • Experience leading audits, inspections, incident investigations, and root cause analysis.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and employee engagement skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead safety programs across a large warehouse and distribution operation.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, LOTO, machine guarding, electrical safety, and forklift safety programs.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Analyze safety metrics and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and risk reduction.
  • Develop and promote a strong culture of safety throughout the organization.
  • Evaluate existing programs and recommend enhancements to improve compliance and operational effectiveness.
  • Partner with operations, HR, and leadership to achieve business objectives while maintaining a safe environment.
  • Lead, coach, and develop safety personnel.
  • Manage corrective action programs and ensure timely resolution of safety concerns.
  • Maintain safety documentation, compliance records, and regulatory reporting.
  • Support operational needs across multiple shifts as required.

Senior Safety Manager (Ecommerce Environment)

Employment Type: Direct Hire
Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA (Onsite)
Compensation: $115,000-$120,000 DOE

Overview

We are partnering with a growing, high-volume eCommerce and distribution organization to identify a Senior Safety Manager for their Santa Fe Springs operation.

This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for driving safety strategy, compliance, and culture across a large-scale warehouse and fulfillment environment supporting more than 2,000 employees. The Senior Safety Manager will lead a team of safety professionals while partnering closely with operational leadership to strengthen existing programs, improve processes, reduce risk, and elevate overall safety performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all safety programs and initiatives across a large warehouse and distribution operation

  • Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations

  • Develop and promote a strong culture of safety throughout the organization
  • Evaluate existing programs and recommend enhancements to improve compliance and operational effectiveness

Required Qualifications

  • CSP (Certified Safety Professional)
  • CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician)
  • ASP (Associate Safety Professional)

  • Experience managing direct reports and developing safety teams
  • Previous experience supporting high-volume distribution, fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics operations
