Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 8+ years of enterprise routing and switching experience.
• Strong hands-on Cisco routing and switching experience.
• Proficiency with BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, TCP/IP.
• Experience developing automation and network management solutions using Python.
• GitHub experience for source control and collaboration.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Cisco CCNP Enterprise/CCIE or equivalent preferred.

The Sr. Route/Switch Network Engineer will serve as a senior-level technical resource responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure supporting mission‑critical operations. This role requires an active TS/SCI Clearance and is onsite five days per week at Fort Meade.

Qualifications of the Sr. Route/Switch Network Engineer

• Expertise with network protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, and TCP/IP.
• Experience developing automation and network management solutions using Python.

• Experience troubleshooting complex network issues in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Cisco certifications such as CCNP Enterprise, CCIE, or equivalent are preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation for the Sr. Route/Switch Network Engineer includes

• Salary range: $170,000 - $190,000 depending on experience
• Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO
