Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer – TS/SCI Clearance to support a leading government and defense technology organization on-site five days a week in Fort Meade, MD. The Sr. Network Engineer – TS/SCI Clearance will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing complex network infrastructures in a secure environment while supporting critical mission objectives. The Sr. Network Engineer - TS/SCI Clearance is ideal for an experienced network engineering professional with a strong background in enterprise networking, troubleshooting, and secure government environments.

Responsibilities of the Sr. Network Engineer – TS/SCI Clearance:

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and related technologies.
• Support network modernization, upgrades, and infrastructure enhancement projects.
• Configure and maintain routing and switching protocols, including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and related technologies.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, systems engineering, and operations teams to support secure network environments.
• Ensure compliance with government security requirements and industry best practices.

Qualifications of the Sr. Network Engineer – TS/SCI Clearance:

• Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• 7+ years of experience in network engineering within enterprise or government environments.
• Strong experience with Cisco networking technologies and enterprise network infrastructure.
• Knowledge of routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and STP.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, network monitoring, and troubleshooting tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Compensation for the Sr. Network Engineer - TS/SCI Clearance includes:

• Salary range: $160,000- $215,000
• 100% onsite in Fort Meade, MD, five days per week.
• Estimated 40 hours per week.
• Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), sick leave as required by law, and PTO.
