The Sr. Retail Labor Analyst supports labor planning, labor allocation and labor reporting strategies for all retail stores by using multiple complex data sets and field insights to design informed workload modeling, actionable reporting, and meaningful recommendations to Executives, Store teams, and corporate partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design strategy and approach for short-range labor planning that can support the weekly scheduling process and mid-range planning to support monthly and annual budgeting process
• Develop models to forecast labor demand by job incorporating volume drivers and labor standards
• Develop models to forecast labor demand by week for all retail stores utilizing each store’s specific operating model and labor demand by job
• Develop and utilize key management reports to monitor and identify areas of concern and areas where strategies are working well
• Support the development and calculation of the Retail field bonus program
• Maintain a deep subject matter expertise of the Harbor Freight labor and scheduling application and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives that impact store labor. Act as a project team member/stakeholder, provide analysis and support data-driven decision-making
• Proactively identify areas of opportunity related to labor, staffing, and scheduling and make recommendations to improve performance

Scope

• Supervises Staff - Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group. May act as a lead or first-level supervisor
• Organizational Scope – All US locations/Single Category/Region/District/Distribution Center
• Travel – Up to 15%
