Job description

We are seeking a strategic, highly organized Sr. Retail Production Rollout Lead to direct the planning and execution of large-scale retail fixture rollouts. Reporting closely to executive leadership, this director-level project leader will serve as the operational owner for high-visibility programs spanning hundreds of retail locations.

This role is ideal for a seasoned production or project management professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment, brings structure to complex workstreams, and is comfortable balancing client expectations, production readiness, field installation, and urgent issue resolution. You will create clarity across internal teams, vendors, fabricators, installers, and retail partners while protecting timelines, quality, and the client experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution for multi-site retail fixture, display, and shop-in-shop rollouts.
  • Manage programs spanning approximately 200 to 500 retail locations, from early planning through installation and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain master schedules, milestone plans, store lists, risk trackers, and program-status reporting.
  • Coordinate client approvals, fixture reviews, testing, permitting, production readiness, and rollout authorization.
  • Partner with fabrication and production vendors on component readiness, schedules, shipping plans, and delivery requirements.

  • Lead client status updates, issue resolution, action plans, and expectation management.
  • Monitor quality, delivery accuracy, installation readiness, and execution consistency across a high volume of locations.
  • Resolve time-sensitive issues involving shipments, site conditions, installation delays, missing components, and store-specific challenges.
  • Escalate critical risks appropriately while independently driving practical solutions.
  • Collaborate with production project managers, creative teams, operational leaders, and executive leadership to maintain alignment.
  • Improve systems, tools, communications, and cross-functional processes that support repeatable rollout excellence.

What You’ll Bring

  • 7–10+ years of experience in retail production, project management, operations, store development, fixture programs, experiential production, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-location projects with numerous stakeholders, vendors, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Experience with retail fixture rollouts, retail construction, fabrication, visual merchandising, installation coordination, or related production environments.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and remain calm, resourceful, and decisive in urgent situations.
  • Clear, professional client-facing communication skills, including the ability to create concise status reports and action plans.
  • Experience working with agencies, fabricators, production partners, retail operations teams, or major retailers is strongly preferred.
  • A collaborative leadership style with the ability to work independently and build accountability across teams.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; local travel to partner facilities, fixture reviews, installations, and project sites is required. Mileage is reimbursed.
