JOB DESCRIPTION
Nemours Children’s Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware (NCH-DE), is seeking a Senior Research Scientist to collaborate with our clinical and research programs focused on cerebral palsy (CP). The successful candidate will establish a sustainable, laboratory-based research program to advance understanding of CP and improve patient outcomes. Candidates should be scientifically independent, with a proven track record in grant funding and publications. We welcome applicants with diverse expertise that complement our clinical and research strengths, including clinician scientists.
NCH-DE offers state-of-the-art CP services, including a fully accredited Gait and Motion Analysis Lab, and is ranked among the top pediatric centers nationally. Our research expands into epigenetics, molecular pathways, muscle biology, biomarkers, and advanced therapies. The new researcher will join a collaborative environment with access to extensive core services, and opportunities for academic affiliation with Thomas Jefferson University or the University of Delaware.
