Job description

We are seeking a Sr. Research Program Coordinator II with excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate the implementation and evaluation of randomized control trial with multiple follow-up surveys, and observational components, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, and grants development for next steps, along with supporting staff who support a larger adolescent-focused research portfolio.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee research protocols and programming.
  • Collaborate and communicate with principal investigator on research protocols and programming, including IRB and regulatory issues.
  • Tracking of study visits and completion of study activities.
  • Oversight remuneration and remuneration tracking.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
  • Guide continuous quality improvement initiatives as part of study implementation and monitoring.
  • Participate in study meetings.
  • Contribute to presentations, manuscripts, and reports.
  • Maintain standard operating procedure manual; onboard and train new study team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.
  • Five years related experience.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in related discipline.
  • Proficient in Excel, RedCap, Qualtrics, engageSpark, or comparable programs.
  • Experience with behavioral clinical trial procedures.
  • Prior experience working with fathers or men as part of public health practice with socially disadvantaged population.

Starting Salary Range: $24.61 - $43.12 HRLY ($40.00 HRLY targeted; Commensurate w/exp.)

Salary Range

The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximum salaries for this position and is based on Johns Hopkins University's good faith belief at the time of posting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary and will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and other factors, as reasonably determined by the University.

Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Education and Experience Equivalency
Please refer to the job description above to see which forms of equivalency are permitted for this position. If permitted, equivalencies will follow these guidelines: JHU Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. Additional related experience may substitute for required education on the same basis. For jobs where equivalency is permitted, up to two years of non-related college course work may be applied towards the total minimum education/experience required for the respective job.

The pre-employment physical for positions in clinical areas, laboratories, working with research subjects, or involving community contact requires documentation of immune status against Rubella (German measles), Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Varicella (chickenpox), Hepatitis B and documentation of having received the Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) vaccination. This may include documentation of having two (2) MMR vaccines; two (2) Varicella vaccines; or antibody status to these diseases from laboratory testing. Blood tests for immunities to these diseases are ordinarily included in the pre-employment physical exam except for those employees who provide results of blood tests or immunization documentation from their own health care providers.
