Description

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

This role serves as the primary interface between our supplier partners and internal engineering teams, driving accountability and operational discipline across vendor quality and reliability performance. The Sr. Reliability TPM will partner closely with engineers to establish, track, and continuously improve supplier-facing metrics—including post‑PFHO Annualized Failure Rate (AFR) performance and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) SLA adherence. A key focus of this position is building and scaling automation to enable real‑time visibility into supplier quality trends, ensuring that vendors and internal stakeholders maintain rigorous standards throughout the product lifecycle. The successful candidate will own the end‑to‑end supplier metrics framework, holding both external vendors and internal partners accountable for meeting reliability targets and driving corrective actions when performance gaps arise.

  • Root Cause Analysis SLA (e.g., > 60 days)

  • This role will reduce engineering LOE by 50% driving automation on above KPIs
  • This role will publish monthly category review
  • Supplier/reliability metrics to internal customers
  • Publish top 2 critical quality/reliability issues for each category to leadership
  • Publish corrective actions completion of top 2 issues for each category
  • External supplier reviews with eternal customer (Monthly/Quarterly)
