Job summary

TEKsystems seeks an experienced Release Train Engineer to lead a large Agile Release Train comprising approximately 15 teams in a complex banking environment. This contract role is based in Charlotte, NC and requires strong SAFe leadership to drive value from day one.

You will facilitate PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, ART Syncs, and Inspect & Adapt workshops, remove impediments, and monitor risks and delivery metrics.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading large Agile Release Trains (ARTs) with ~15 teams.
• Proven ability to remove program-level impediments and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong collaboration with Product Management, Architects, and Technology leaders.

Responsibilities

Description

Serve as the Release Train Engineer for a large, complex Agile Release Train consisting of approximately 15 teams.

Facilitate ART events, including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, ART Syncs, Inspect & Adapt workshops, and other SAFe ceremonies.

Drive alignment, coordination, and execution across multiple Agile teams and business stakeholders.

Identify and remove program-level impediments to ensure successful delivery and continuous improvement.

Partner with Product Management, Business Owners, Architects, and Technology leaders to achieve strategic objectives.

Monitor program risks, dependencies, and delivery metrics, providing transparency and proactive communication to leadership.

Coach teams and stakeholders on SAFe principles, Agile best practices, and Lean-Agile ways of working.

Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across the ART.

SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) Certification.

SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) Certification.

Familiarity with Bank of America's Agile framework, governance processes, and operating model.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be a highly experienced Agile leader who has demonstrated success leading large-scale ARTs in complex banking environments. They will possess the ability to rapidly integrate into the organization, understand existing processes, and drive value from day one while supporting a critical business initiative.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
