Job summary

Brasseler USA in Savannah, GA is seeking a warehouse receiving associate to accurately receive and verify inventory items by purchase order and place them in designated warehouse locations. You will unload shipments, verify labeling, create receiving lists, and notify QA for inspections as needed.

Responsibilities also include assigning items to locations, printing move labels, handling pallet loads as a licensed forklift operator, and maintaining accurate paperwork for history records.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and follow standard procedures.
• Experience in warehouse receiving preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload and check all incoming shipments and report damages.
• Open packaging slips to verify PO and items listed.
• Create PO Receiving list and verify labeling, packaging and quantity.
• Notify QA for incoming inspection where required.
• Assign items to warehouse locations and print move labels.
• Place all received items with labels on cart for designated put-away location.
• Unload and place pallet loads as a forklift operator.
• Maintain packing list/receiving edit paperwork for history records.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager.

JOB OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible foraccurately receiving and verifying inventory itemsby purchase order and putting away to adesignatedwarehouse location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Unloads andchecksall incoming shipmentsand reports any damages to the carrier

• Assigns items to warehouse locations and prints move labels for each product

• Unloads and places pallet loads as a Licensed forklift operator
• Maintains all packing list/receiving edit paperwork for history records
• Other tasks as assigned by Manager

WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience in a relevant position desired

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

• High School degree or equivalent required

KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS &COMPETENCIES:

• Ability to read, understand and perform standard procedures and work instructions
• Basicmechanical skills desired
• Basic math and logic skillsrequired
• Basic computer skills and software use(email, document prep, and spreadsheets) desired

TRAVEL / WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Travel – typically not required
• Position typically works on site where environmental conditions are stable. May be exposed to higher levels of noise typical in a warehouse environment.
• The position requires an above average amount of physical activity. While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to stand and walk for extended periods oftime; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, stretch, climb stairsand may be required to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
