Job summary

Federal Express Corporation seeks a skilled Air Traffic Control professional to monitor, direct, and coordinate aircraft movements on the FedEx Express ramp areas in Memphis. You will work closely with the appropriate department to ensure safe, efficient ramp operations.

The role requires a bachelor's degree or higher in Air Traffic Control or related field, FAA CTO/CTI or equivalent credentials, and at least three years of certified experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/equivalent in Air Traffic Control or related degree.
• Must possess FAA CTO License/Credentials, or FAA CTI Certificate, or Airport Ramp Tower Operator Certificate to satisfy degree requirement.
• Three (3) years’ experience as a fully certified Control Tower Operator in FAA/Military ATC or Ramp Tower Operator.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree/equivalent in Air Traffic Control or related degree. Must possess FAA Control Tower Operator (CTO) License/Credentials, or FAA Collegiate Training Initiative (CTI) Certificate, or Airport/Airline Ramp Tower Operator Certificate can satisfy the bachelor’s degree/equivalent requirement.

Minimum Experience

Three (3) years’ experience as a fully certified Control Tower Operator in an FAA/ Military Air Traffic Control Facility, or Airport/Airline Ramp Tower Operator. CTI certification satisfies the (3) year experience requirement.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Strong planning, organizing, decision making and communication skills.
